s        Christian Education Attendance Contest March 7 – bring a musical instrument to ‘March.’

s        Lenten Offering Folders are on the table in the narthex.  Filled folders can be returned Easter morning, April 4, 2010 in the basket located in the Narthex.

s        Please come out and support our Midweek Lenten services at 7:30pm Wednesday, March 3, 2010, with readings from Genesis beginning at 7:00pm.

s        The 2010 Confirmation Class is collecting crushed aluminum cans to be recycled as a fund raiser for Good Shepherd.  Crushed cans can be brought in and placed in the container in the Narthex.  The Confirmation Class thanks you for your support.

s        Cans of Corn are being collected for the Easter meals for the Northern Lehigh Food Bank clients.  300 cans of corn are needed.

s        Look for the Scrip information in the narthex on how to be a part of our newest fund raiser sponsored by Christian Education.  

 s    Walk-In Basket Social will be Saturday, March 20 from 12-3:00pm.  See Linda Bowers about basket donations.

During this Lenten Season our midweek worship services will have an element of interaction and participation for the congregation in asking questions and possibly stumping the Pastor regarding rare miracles found in the Hebrew Testament.  The congregation is invited to read the lesson prior to the service and then to write down a question that they may have regarding that particular lesson to ask the Pastor and place it in the box found in the narthex.  During the Q&A period of the worship, the Pastor will draw questions from the box and will try to answer the question and will ask for others to make their comments if they wish.  Please make sure to place your name with the question, not that the Pastor will announce who you are, but just in case we don’t get to all the questions, the Pastor can talk with you possibly after services.  We hope that you will find the time to come out to worship God and to share with the Pastor and the other members and friends of Good Shepherd to learn and grow through the interesting and oft over looked miracles found in the Hebrew Testament of our Holy Scriptures.
